I nicked the idea for the composition of this picture from a wistful picture Melancholy by Edvard Munch but I though I would make it more relevant to my world if it showed a man waiting for one of my fave pubs the Old Neptune to open… You can’t beat The Neptune on a warm sunny evening sitting at the tables on the shingle, drinking a decent pint, watching the sun slowly go down.
